Steve Pingry passed after a bout with cancer this past week. He was a much loved near-eastsider and very talented cellist who played with subvocal and The Getaway Drivers. You can hear his music at

You can start voting in the MAMA's through 3/18. I have entered my EP in the Folk Album category and am also entered in the Folk performer of the year category. Your 5.00 registration fee for voting goes to putting musical instruments into kids lives. This is a wonderful non-profit organization that's duel purposes are to aide children's musical education while giving local musicians recognition for their artistry. Please support the MÅMA's!
